Have you or someone you know experienced the death of a spouse or partner? The Langley Hospice Society is offering the Cooking for One Program again this fall, thanks to the generous funding from the G&F Financial Group! This unique program is offered in partnership with Well Seasoned: A Gourmet Food Store, and provides support and classes for individuals who have lost a partner or spouse and are wanting to learn to cook or reconnect with the kitchen and preparation of meals.
Please note: Classes are free of charge, but class size is limited and registration in advance is mandatory. Interested individuals can make an application through our Langley Hospice Society Supportive Program Centre, Attn: Shannon, via email: firstname.lastname@example.org or phone: 604.530.1115.
Well Seasoned’s Chef Sue will teach fun, hands-on classes, with a goal to help participants discover and learn to cook healthy meals for themselves, learn new recipes, and build connections in an environment with others who have experienced a similar loss.
